Pete Steensgard
Our entire office loves Pete. This quiet guy packs a hilarious punch, dressing up as his “doppelganger” for Halloween – Captain William T. Riker. It was rewarding sitting down with Pete, as I found myself laughing more than I had originally planned to laugh on a Friday.
Q: How long have you worked for Summit?
A: I’m in my 3rd year of working here! I have always wanted to work in tech. It’s just where you want to be these days. It’s every day, it’s where people are going.Q: What is your relationship like with your clients?A: There is a lot of banter! I love when they send me funny emails, jokes, etc. I can appreciate a good joke.
Q: Will you see the new Star Wars?
A: Yes, I am ready for some more Han Solo. He is the best. And Chewbacca. He is a close 2nd. Oh, and I couldn’t forget starship troopers. I really appreciate Star Wars & Star Trek.
Q: Do you have a dream client?
A: I would love to work with Gibson. And I’m working with Upper Deck which is cool, since I grew up collecting them.
Q: It sounds to me like you are a musician…. Which leads me to my next question. What do you like to do outside of work?
A: You are correct, I love music. I used to be in a band for years. And bike-riding. I actually ride a bike to work every day, except when the weather is too bad. I also love to travel. Before we had my son, my wife and I went to Budapest, and I traveled to Colombia!
Something unique about Pete is that he has a calming manor, and his humor is subdued. He is easy to work with, and keeps us chuckling!
