The first thing you notice about Mike is that he looks like he could be a professional athlete. Mike is naturally on the quiet side, but he’s nice and a bit sarcastic. He’s 6’2″, which quickly led to my first question.
Q: You’re so tall…. Did you play sports?
A: I did, and I do. Basketball mostly.
Q: Is that what you wanted to do?
A: Actually, I went to school for tech. I was told it was a great career choice with growth in the industry. So I did.
Q: So it naturally makes sense that you would work at a tech company.
A: Yeah. And now I’ve been here for a little over a year.
Q: Let’s say you had a “dream client”… who would it be?
A: Really, I would love to work with any professional sports team. I like pretty much all sports.
Q: What do you like about the clients you are currently working with?
A: Right now I work with a ton of schools. Working with has turned out to be a great option beyond E-Rate. They can save so much money through Summit. It feels good to know that I made their jobs easier.
Q: If you won the Powerball, and could do anything….
A: That’s a good one… I would spend 5 years traveling and then settle down by the ocean.
